Important: CertQuest helps you prepare for IT certifications but does not guarantee passing certification exams or specific exam scores.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Free and Premium Tiers
Free Tier: Limited course access, basic progress tracking, community access
Premium Subscription: Full course library, advanced analytics, priority support, exclusive content
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. We use secure third-party payment processors.
4.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancel anytime through account settings or app store
- Access continues until the end of the billing period
- 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
5. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Post harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Share copyrighted material without permission
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas
- Interfere with platform security
- Harass, bully, or threaten others
- Spam or advertise without permission
- Use automated tools without permission
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
All Platform content including course materials, graphics, logos, and software is owned by CertQuest or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Platform for personal, non-commercial use.
6.3 Trademarks
"CertQuest" and our logo are trademarks of CertQuest. CompTIA, A+, Network+, and Security+ are trademarks of CompTIA. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by CompTIA.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
Legal Notice
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.
Our content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional career advice, guaranteed exam preparation, or employment recommendations.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CERTQUEST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CertQuest and its affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
11.2 Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute not resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
11.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Appendix A: Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded CertQuest from the Apple App Store:
- Apple is not a party to these Terms
- Apple has no obligation to provide support
- Apple is not responsible for any claims related to the app
- You may not use the app in violation of U.S. export laws
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
Appendix B: Google Play Store Terms
If you downloaded CertQuest from Google Play:
- Google is not a party to these Terms
- Google has no obligation to provide support
- Google is not responsible for any claims related to the app
- You agree to comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies
